Log in to your Online Banking Plus account at www.mechanicsbank.com on or after Monday, March 23, 2026.
Please download the Mobile Banking Plus app from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store on or after Monday, March 23, 2026. Look for the app with a white background, gold icon, and the words “MB Plus” below.
If you are a current Personal Online Banking and Bill Pay user at www.homestreet.com, your username and password will not change.
Please download account history, statements, and tax documents BEFORE Friday, March 20 at 5:00pm (PT). Access to your historical statements and tax documents may be limited when you log in on Monday, March 23, 2026.
Online Bill Pay services will end at 3:00 pm (PT) Thursday, March 19. Be sure to review your bill pay profile within Mechanics Bank’s Online Banking Plus system on Monday, March 23, 2026 to ensure your payments stay on track. You may be required to resubmit your scheduled payments.
Your scheduled online bill payments will process as planned; however, online bill pay services will be unavailable as of 3:00pm (PT) Thursday, March 19, 2026.
If your HomeStreet online banking account is set up to receive electronic invoices from a third party, such as a utility company (e-bill), those invoices are no longer transmitted as of Thursday, March 12, 2026. You will need to re-enroll in the Mechanics Bank Online Banking Plus e-bill service on Monday, March 23, 2026.
Yes. If you had account alerts set up on your HomeStreet account in the HomeStreet online or mobile banking platforms, they will need to be re-established on the new Mechanics Bank Online Banking Plus and/or Mobile Banking Plus platform beginning Monday, March 23, 2026.
Yes. Beginning on Monday, March 23, 2026, you will be provided an enhanced view of your card under the Cards > Debit Card menu in Online Banking Plus or the Cards menu in the Mobile Banking Plus app where you can temporarily turn your card on/off, see enriched information about purchases made with your debit card, i.e., location of the merchant, merchant logo, merchant type, purchase type (in-store, online, Autopay/Recurring), view your Digital Card, see spending insights, set controls & alerts and more.
Your HomeStreet ATM, Debit, and Credit Cards with a Visa® logo will continue to work after with no interruptions, until further notice.
If you have an ATM-only card (those without a Visa® logo) it will be replaced in the first week of March.
ATM Card numbers will change for HomeStreet customers (see above). Only Private Banking debit card numbers will change for HomeStreet customers, all others remain the same.
Your new account(s) may have different features, benefits, options, or product name. Please consult the Personal Account Transition Guide “Change in Terms” schedules to identify any changes to your account(s).
The vast majority of account numbers will stay the same. If your account number is an exception, we will notify you directly.
The bank’s Routing Number you use now will continue to work. However, when you order new checks or establish new ACH payments, please use the updated Routing Number 121102036.
You may continue to use your existing HomeStreet or Mechanics Bank checks and deposit slips without interruption. However, when you order new checks or deposit slips after Monday, March 23, 2026, please use the updated Routing Number 121102036.
Direct deposits and pre-scheduled automatic transfers to and from your accounts will continue without interruption after Monday, March 23, 2026. Automatic transfers will be posted to the account nightly on the same business day the transfer is scheduled, or the next business day if the transfer is scheduled on a weekend or holiday. Please verify they have transferred successfully on Monday, March 23.
Please continue to access and use your Safe Deposit Box as you normally do. Refer to the Transition Guide Schedule of Fees and Charges for any changes associated with your Safe Deposit Box. Annual rental fee by box varies by size. If your fee changes, you will be contacted before your annual renewal date.
Please download or print copies of bank statements and any tax documents associated with your www.homestreet.com online banking accounts BEFORE Friday, March 20 at 5:00pm (PT). Access to your historical statements and tax documents may be limited when you log in on March 23, 2026.
Interest is simple and not compounded. Please refer to the Change In Terms notice in the Personal Transition Guide for interest calculation information for your specific account(s). For Certificate of Deposit (CD) holders, please note there will be no changes to how your interest is calculated; however, once your CD matures, it will be subject to Mechanics Bank terms, including interest calculations, in effect at the time of renewal.
If you receive eStatements (electronic statements) with your current account, you will continue to receive them after Monday, March 23, 2026.
If you currently receive paper statements, you will continue to receive them after Monday, March 23, 2026.
For incoming wire transfers dated after Friday, March 20 at 5:00pm (PT), please notify the senders of Mechanics Bank’s routing and transit number, which is 121102036. Outgoing wire transfers can be made in person at your local branch.
If you use Zelle* to send money to friends and family quickly, it will continue to be available for use. Please note that the Zelle history will not be available in the new system. If you wish to capture any Zelle transaction history, please download it in advance of Friday, March 20 by 5:00pm (PT).
Your consumer loan account number may change. If so, you will receive a separate mailing with your new loan account number and any important additional information.
While it is expected that all consumer loan terms and conditions will remain the same, you will receive a separate mailing if any changes are necessary.
Loan payments should be made according to the original payment schedule to the address noted on your current billing statement.
