Important dates and service interruptions in March

Before March 20, 2026

  • Update your contact information.
    • A valid phone number and email address is required to login to your new Mechanics Bank Online Banking Plus system on Monday, March 23.
    • Login to your existing Personal Online Banking account at www.homestreet.com and update your contact info by clicking on “Customer Service” and then “Contact Information” OR
    • Call us at 800.719.8080 M-F 8am - 6pm, Sat. 9am - 5pm (PT) OR Stop by your local branch.
  • Download Quicken and any other third-party financial software information.
  • Download account statements and tax documents.
    • Access to your transaction history, historical statements and tax documents may be limited when you login on March 23, 2026.
  • For incoming wire transfers dated after Friday, March 20, 2026, please notify senders to use Mechanics Bank’s routing and transit number: 121102036. For outgoing wires, please visit your local branch to complete the transfer.
  • Download your Zelle transaction history before March 20, 2026. This information will not be available in the new system.

Thursday, March 12, 2026 5pm (PT): e-Bill Services end. If your HomeStreet Personal Online Banking account is set up to receive electronic invoices from a third party, such as a utility company, those invoices will no longer be transmitted after March 12, 2026. You will need to re-enroll in the Mechanics Bank Online Banking Plus e-bill service on Monday, March 23.

Wednesday, March 18, 2026

  • 9pm (PT): Personal Mobile Banking Bill Pay services end. Please access bill pay services using a laptop or desktop computer until 3pm on March 19.

Thursday, March 19, 2026

  • 3pm (PT): Personal Online Bill Pay services end. Note: Your scheduled online bill payments will process as planned. Be sure to review your bill pay profile within Mechanics Bank’s Online Banking Plus system on March 23rd to ensure your payments stay on track. You may be required to resubmit your scheduled payments and automatic payments.
  • 5pm (PT): ACH Origination services end.
  • 9pm (PT): Access to HomeStreet Personal Mobile Banking ends.
  • For incoming wire transfers dated after Friday, March 20, 2026, please notify the senders of Mechanics Bank’s routing and transit number, which is 121102036. Outgoing wire transfers can be made in person at your local branch. 

  • Don’t forget to download your Zelle transaction history—today is the last day. This information won’t transfer to the new system, so please save anything you may need.

Friday, March 20, 2026

  • 3pm (PT): Wire transfer services end.
  • 3pm (PT): External transfers will be prohibited.
  • 5pm (PT): Internal transfers between your HomeStreet accounts will be prohibited.
  • 5pm (PT): Access to www.homestreet.com Personal Online Banking ends.
  • 5pm (PT): Access to HomeStreet Automated 24-Hour Banking phone line ends.
  • HomeStreet ATM, Debit and Credit Cards with the Visa® logo will continue to function without interruption until further notice. Some clients will receive a new Mechanics Bank ATM or Debit card and will be notified in advance.
  • Final account statements will be issued for all accounts on the former HomeStreet system at the end of the business day.
  • For incoming wire transfers dated after Friday, March 20, 2026, please notify the senders of Mechanics Bank’s routing and transit number, which is 121102036.

Saturday & Sunday, March 21 & 22, 2026

  • www.homestreet.com Personal Online Banking (and related services) are not available.
  • HomeStreet Personal Mobile Banking (and related services) are not available.
  • HomeStreet Automated 24-Hour Banking phone line is not available.
  • Customer Care at 800.719.8080 is off-line.

Monday, March 23, 2026

  • All branches are open for regular operating hours.
  • www.mechanicsbank.com Online Banking Plus is available. Review your bill pay profile within Mechanics Bank’s Online Banking Plus system to ensure your payments stay on track. You may be required to resubmit your scheduled payments.
  • Mechanics Bank Mobile Banking Plus app is available.
  • The current HomeStreet routing number will continue to work. Please update any transactional material to the Mechanics Bank routing number (121102036) at your first opportunity.
  • Outgoing wire transfers can be made in person at your local branch.
  • 24/7 Automated Telebanking is available at 800.797.6324
  • Customer Care team is available to help at 800.719.8080 M-F 8am - 6pm, Sat. 9am - 5pm (PT).
