Business Banking Transition Checklist
Key dates and tips for a smooth transition.

This list of items is designed to help ensure you are prepared for the transition. Review the following information and actions you may need to take:

 

 

All Business Clients

Before Thursday, March 19 at 5:00pm (PT):

Release final ACH batches
ACH services via HomeStreet's system will end.

Before Friday, March 20 at 5:00pm (PT): Review and complete the following items prior to March 20, 2026:

Review your new account details

Account numbers remain the same, unless you are notified; however, your account details and benefits are changing. Please review the Business Account Transition Guide to learn more.

Continue to use your HomeStreet ATM, Debit & Credit card(s)
Your HomeStreet ATM, debit and credit cards with a Visa® logo will continue to work after March 20 with no interruptions, until further notice.

  • ATM-only cards (those without a Visa logo) will be replaced the first week of March
  • Any recurring payments you make linked to your current HomeStreet debit card will continue uninterrupted

Continue to use your HomeStreet checks
Checks will continue to process as usual. Continue using your current HomeStreet checks until they run out. 

Note the new routing number, effective March 23, 2026
The former HomeStreet routing number will continue to work, however, on or after March 23, please be sure to notify the senders of the specific Mechanic's Bank routing and transit number, which is 121102036.

Please begin updating the SWIFT code from HOMSUS6S over to MEBKUS66.

Save the Treasury Operations contact information
Begin using this number on March 23, 2026 for assistance with Commercial Center Banking and Treasury Operations:

All Business Online Banking Clients

Before Friday, March 20 at 5:00pm (PT): Review and complete the following items prior to March 20, 2026:

Note your current HomeStreet Business Online Banking company ID, user ID and password.

Online Banking Plus users will need their Company ID, User ID and current password for initial login. Click below for first time login instructions.

Online Banking Plus

Commercial Center users will need their Company ID, User ID and their temporary password sent on 3/17 via secure message in the HomeStreet Business Online Banking system.

If you are unsure which business banking platform your business account(s) will transition to, please visit Commercial Center.

Download or save account statements and tax documents
Please download or print copies of your account statements and any tax documents associated with your homestreet.com online banking accounts. Access to your historical statements and tax documents may be limited when you login on March 23, 2026.

Download historical account data beyond 12 months 
12 months of historical account data will transfer over to both Online Banking Plus and Commercial Center. Download any additional historical data you wish to retain.

Backup your Quicken or QuickBooks data and download any history
As close to 4:00pm (PT) Friday, March 20, download any Quicken or other third-party financial software, including Direct Connect or Web Connect history you wish to retain. Learn more here

Commercial Center users: Make note of recurring or scheduled payments
Recurring or scheduled payments will not transition to Commercial Center. You will need to set them up beginning March 23, 2026. Please make note of these prior to March 20, 2026 to ease re-entry.

Download ACH, wire, and remote deposit capture history
This history will not be available via Online Banking Plus nor Commercial Center.

Save your ACH Tax templates and Non-NACHA ACH file import templates
These will not be converted to Commercial Center and will need to be re-established.

Review Positive Pay Presentments
If there are items you would like paid or returned in the Positive Pay system on Saturday, March 21, notify the bank by contacting Commercial Depository Services (CDS) or calling your banker. If you don't contact us, we will follow the default pay/return rules established for your account over transition weekend.

Positive Pay services will be available through Commercial Center beginning Monday, March 23, 2026.

Re-establish recurring or scheduled transfers
Any future dated, recurring or scheduled transfers will also transfer over to Online Banking Plus. Once you have access to your Mechanics Bank account, we recommend you check to ensure all the information has been transferred accurately.

Online Banking Plus: Any future dated, recurring or scheduled transfers will transfer over to Online Banking Plus. Once you have access to your Mechanics Bank account, we recommend you check to ensure all the information has been transferred accurately.

Commercial Center: Any future transfers that are originated in your Bill Pay system will convert over to Commercial Center. Other recurring internal transfers and recurring bill payments will not. We recommend you check to ensure all the information has been transferred accurately, and that any transfers/payments are scheduled or rescheduled as needed.

Update the routing number
